Tired of the traffic in Bangalore, people are increasingly choosing to car pool and a website is helping them get in touch with each other.

Every morning, Jagannath hires a taxi and picks up two other people on his way to work. They have the same timing and travel costs are cut by one third.

And helping them to find people in the same route is commuteeasy.com.

The site allows commuters to register themselves with details like timing, travel points and even gender.

The site will then generate a list of people who live near you and travel towards your work place. All you've got to do is pick up the phone and call the person or just leave a message on the site if the person has chosen not to leave contact details.

All this can be done without paying a penny. So you could end up sharing a taxi or taking turns to drive your own cars.

So beat Banaglore's biggest problem, find commuters on your route to work and form a car pool and who knows you might just have a smooth drive to work.
