A GROUP of Indian investors in Bahrain who feel they have been cheated by a property developer in Bangalore are to form an association to fight their case.

They say property they purchased from CEHD Corporation/Athina Hotels and Resort Developers in Hennur, Bangalore, has been hit by problems including encroachment and litigation.

Investors in Bahrain were yesterday urged to join hands to fight for their rights.

One of the investors, John Patrick, said it was important to take urgent measures to keep safe custody and proper development of the purchased properties.

"Bangalore today is a metro city and the property prices are escalating on a daily basis," he told the GDN.

"Hence, urgent measures have to be taken to maintain security and title of the properties.

"Athina Township III stage, which was encroached by unauthorised people, is slowly being taken back by some investors ."

Mr Patrick said other properties, such as Crown Plaza International, Planet Regency and Regency Enclave, also have investors in Bahrain who still have no proper information on the status of their properties.

"We, therefore, wish that we all join hands for a common cause immediately to form an association by contacting our members on 39931303, 39851552, 39672230 or 39263479," he added.
